Connor Frey
Head Performance Coach
Connor was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio where he played hockey and lacrosse. He played at the AAA level for Detroit Belle Tire throughout his hockey career, then moved on to junior hockey. During his junior career, he played for the Amarillo Bulls in the NAHL, winning a National Championship in 2012-13. Post hockey Connor attended the University of Toledo pursuing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science. Earning a graduate assistantship Connor was also responsible for teaching anatomy and physiology lab classes to undergraduate students. Connor has been a part of the Goodman Elite staff since October of 2019. As a Head Performance Coach, Connor is responsible for the program management and Sports Performance Coaching for teams such as the Chicago Mission AAA, Chicago Stallions, Chicago Romans, and other private and semi-private training groups. Connor trains athletes in the gym and works with players on the ice to further enhance their performance. In his free time, Connor enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
