    Goodman Elite Training is a world-class training facility with multiple locations in Chicago, Illinois. We provide a sports science-based approach to training athletes of all levels in both individual and team training environments: Olympic, professional, collegiate, high school, and youth. Along with offering training services, we provide physiology testing through our sports performance lab, NSCA CEU-approved courses and orchestrate combines for ice hockey prospects.

    Overview

    Goodman Elite Training is seeking energetic, driven, and committed full-time coaches, part-time coaches, and interns who are looking to gain experience in the field of Sports Performance working with athletes of all levels, primarily in hockey.  Goodman Elite Training is an educational facility, that provides frequent NSCA CEU(s) courses and clinics during the months of April - August. Coaches and interns will gain practical and applicable experience through hands-on coaching, and professional development.

    Duties:

    • Logistically preparing for strength and conditioning sessions, assisting in setting up and breaking down the equipment.

    • Participating in team meetings, discussing and implementing new ideas for training and business.

    • Observing, assisting, and leading training sessions for both youth and adults sessions with practical application.

    • Attending and participating in strength and conditioning-related professional development.

    • Regularly clean and maintain the integrity of the facility and the quality of the equipment.

    • Assist in performing physiology testing on athletes and general populations, assessing all pillars of athletic performance.

    This position requires the applicant to be available for morning, afternoon, and evening hours. 

    Requirements:

    • Must be eligible to work in the United States at the time of application.

    • Motivated, Committed, Energetic, and possess a positive attitude.

    • Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with clientele and staff.

    • Ability to or strong desire to direct and teach large groups of youth athletes using strong leadership skills and a positive influence.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Openness to being taught the protocol of the sessions.
